Back when I was an early designer, I had a book called “Making and Breaking the Grid.” I may still have it. Grid structures bring clarity to a design and make the entire process easier, and sometimes it helps to see how shapes can bring you an even grid as well. I used the shape tool in InDesign to make a nice grid for these watermarked logos. Once I had them in place, I used the align tool to align them perfectly. Be sure to take into account the weight of a logo as that might not perfectly align with the bounding box.
